I started by selling online. Shops I built on my own, imported products, campaigns paid for out of my own pocket. I learned there what no course teaches: a site that does not sell costs exactly the same as a site that does.
Then I built a marketplace for butchers, with deliveries, payments and orders to handle every day. That is when I understood the real job: it is not the design that keeps a self-employed person alive, it is the phone ringing and the enquiries coming in.
Today I do that for others. Tradespeople, shopkeepers, professionals: people who do good work and cannot be found. I build their site, their Google profile and their enquiry tracking as one system, and I stay their point of contact afterwards.
Why are the prices published? Because I have been on the other side. I asked for quotes, waited weeks, received ranges that doubled along the way. Showing my prices costs me clients who find it expensive, and brings me others who finally know what to expect.
